Private beta
Legenda is a browser extension developed by Brandon Agil. Beta access is by invitation and follows the terms provided with your invitation.
These terms apply when included in your beta agreement. Individually agreed terms take precedence.
The extension
Legenda adds bilingual subtitles and language-learning tools to supported browser video players. The current learning focus is Brazilian Portuguese. It requires available captions and a compatible desktop browser. Optional Anki export requires Anki Desktop and AnkiConnect.
Legenda does not provide access to videos, streaming subscriptions or third-party content. You need your own lawful access to the videos you use.
Beta limitations
Changes to video players, missing captions or unavailable external services can interrupt features. Unless expressly agreed, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. AI-generated translations and explanations may be inaccurate.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. Liability under mandatory product-liability law, an express guarantee or other law that does not permit a limitation remains unaffected.
For other damage caused by simple negligence, we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation: an obligation necessary to perform the agreement and on which you may normally rely. In that case, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the agreement. Otherwise, liability for simple negligence is excluded.
Purchases and refunds
This website does not currently accept payments.
If you already have a separate paid beta agreement, its stated terms and any applicable statutory rights continue to apply. For an access or refund question, contact support@getlegenda.de with your order reference. Nothing on this page limits rights that cannot be excluded by law.
Independent product
Legenda is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, YouTube, Netflix, Stremio or Anki. Their names identify compatibility or optional integrations. Third-party content and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
